... is the intellectual property of BusinessProfiles-Auscity. As such, unlawful copying of information or use of the information outside these terms and conditions is strictly prohibited. Offenders will be prosecuted.
Accuracy of Information:
Users of BusinessProfiles database (at all the above sites and at businessprofiles.com.au) agree that any or all information provided is not guaranteed as being accurate and/or up-to-date. Whilst the database is routinely updated, errors or omissions can occur. You are advised to not rely upon the information provided and in any event, agree to indemnify BusinessProfiles-Auscity and its associates, agents and representatives for any actions you may have taken as a result of information provided - that information being subsequently judged as being either accurate or inaccurate.
Unlawful Email Broadcasting:
Email addresses in entries are provided to facilitate you being able to email an individual business with a personally addressed email. On no account is an individual or organisation permitted to 'electronically harvest' or manually copy a group (more than one) of email addresses for the purpose of sending out unsolicited/uninvited 'broadcast' emails - often called SPAM.
To do so is not only unlawful but also a breach of the Terms of Use of the BusinessProfiles database and its associated web sites.
The database is 'seeded' to detect this act and those who have breached this Term of Use will be prosecuted to the full letter of the law by BusinessProfiles-Auscity.
BusinessProfiles-Auscity will demand:
- a fee ranging from minimum AUD$5,000 to maximum AUD$50,000 for breaches of these Terms of use.
- plus costs
- plus payment of AUD$5 to each email recipient together with a personalised letter of apology from the offending organisation/individual.
... and will be reported to their Internet Service Provider (ISP). ISP's are generally very intolerant of SPAM originating from their servers and have been known to suspend the accounts of users sending spam emails.
